George Collvins

George Ann Collvins, age 72, of Robert Lee, TX, passed away on January 21, 2018 in Robert Lee.

Visitation will be open all day Friday, January 26, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa, TX.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Brunson of the Three C Church in Bronte, TX, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

George Ann Collvins was born June 9, 1945 to Ira Vernon and Mary Grace Alldredge in Pyote, TX. She attended school in Barstow, TX. George Ann married Delbert Gene Benson on August 16, 1964 in Barstow, TX. She later married Gerald Collvins on November 14, 1987 in Odessa, TX. Gerald retired as an auto mechanic from Sewell Ford.

George Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Ira and Mary Grace Alldredge.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Collvins; her three children, Roxanne Benson, Holly Benson and Terry Benson; sister, Helen Raber; grandchildren, Tara Bailey and husband, Zach Bailey, Jeramy Penney, Dustin Benson, Travis Pouge, Kelsey Benson; great grandchildren, Vaughn Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Nikole Bailey and uncle Tom Hodgett.

Pallbearers will be: Terry Benson, Clifton Thomas, Zach Bailey, Jeramy Penney, Dustin Benson and Travis Pogue.
