George Green

George Charles Green Charlie, age 91, of Odessa, TX, passed away on September 27, 2014 here in Odessa.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 10 AM on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Charlie was born on August 25, 1923 in Weed, NM. He served several stints in the United States Navy in both World War II and the Korean War. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. After the military he worked for the United States Forest Service in Alamogordo, New Mexico until his retirement in 1982 when he moved to Odessa.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Green.

He is survived by his son, Billy Green, stepson, Jeff Fair, stepdaughter Cynthia Jaqua, grandsons, Greg Bryant and Aaron Fair and Great granddaughter Kelly Bryant.
