Gerald Myers, age 72, of Odessa, TX, of Odessa, TX passed away on September 3, 2018 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 7, 2018 at Sherwood Church of Christ in Odessa with Taylor Robles officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Gerald was born September 25, 1945 to Alton and Mary Myers in Norfork, Virginia. He graduated from Monahans High School in 1963 and he continued his education to receive a bachelor's in science degree. Gerald married Shirrie Myers in 1990. He retired from USPS after 29 years. He was Union President for 10 years. He was very involved with his church.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Shirrie Myers; sons, Benjamin, Jeff, Mark and Robbie; daughter in laws, Paula and Kris; grandchildren, Christy, Jackie, Amanda and their spouses; six great grandchildren; sisters, Carol and Elaine; brother, Jimmy.
