Geron Wright

Geron Robert Wright, 57, of Odessa Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2013.

Geron Robert Wright was born in Bloomfield, Iowa to Robert and Gertrude Wright on May 2, 1956. He graduated from Fairfield High school in 1974. He married Linda Bennett on March 26 1983 in Fairfield, Iowa. He worked as an Indirect Account Manager for Verizon Wireless for 7 years.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Wright son, Jason Wright and his wife Jamie Wright daughter, Heather Smith and her husband Joe Watson sisters, Ramona Shelangoski and Cherylyn Trier parents, Robert and Gertrude Wright and grandchildren Shelby Zeller and Cayden Watson.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Hancock, Travis Hancock, Steve Price, Paul Ortiz, Kenneth Imler, and Manuel Marquez.

The family of Geron Wright wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Ray Hill, Francis Wilson, Kenny Hawkins, Dubb and Shara Ward, Phyllis Marshall, Paul Ortiz, and Cindy Moore.

Visitation will be at held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday May 23, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Friday May 24, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in the chapel with Pastor Ron Colwell of Asbury United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
