Glenda B. Videtto 72, passed away May 15, 2009 in Odessa, TX. Glenda was born in Gorman, TX on January 10, 1937 to Shorty Welch and Thelma Cleo Merworth. She was raised and attended school in Pecos, TX. She also attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX. She retired from Mobil Oil and was a resident of Odessa for about eleven years. She was a member of The Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her mother Cleo Welch and sister Maxine Willis.
Survivors include: son, Paul Videtto and wife Tootsie of Odessa, one granddaughter: Giselle Videtto of Odessa; sisters: Lee Frymire of Odessa, Jeanne Lubbe of Comanche, TX, Jerry Cook of Midland, Judy Guthrie of Woodward, OK and Kaye Hanks of Odessa; brothers, Dwain Welch of Monahans, Doak Welch of New Braunfels, TX Dex Welch of Midland and Durl Welch of Silver City, NM; one special niece, Sue Frymire of Odessa and several other nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be Monday, May 18, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Gardens officiated by Dr. Ron Guthrie.
Pallbearers will be: Ron Guthrie, David Cook, Dean Cook, Kelly Cook and Jason Maloy.
