Glenn Rhodes

Glenn Rhodes, 70, of Odessa, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Medical Center Hospital.

Glenn was born July 28, 1938 in Jacksboro, Texas to Earnest and Jewell Rhodes. He began his walk with God as a 13 year old boy. Glenn graduated from Jacksboro High School in 1956. He and Dean McCoy were married November 17, 1960 in Jacksboro. They moved to Monahans where Glenn worked for Halliburton until he retired in 1992. They moved to Odessa in 1998.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Dean of Odessa; daughters, Pam Miles and husband Danny of Midland and Patti McKellips and husband Chuck of Monahans; sisters, May Dell Pierce and husband Billy of Riverton, Wyoming and Thelma Stone of Odessa; grandchildren, Jared and Erin Miles of Midland, Emily Lopez and husband Jacob of Monahans; one great granddaughter, the joy of his life, Kieli Lopez of Monahans and numerous nieces and nephews.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Earnest and Jewell Rhodes.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 Am Monday, September 15, 2008 in Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Bob Bratcher and Phil Skelton officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
