Glenna Lea, 80, of Odessa, Passed away on July 1st, 2024, in Odessa Texas
Glenna Lea Street was born to Jess and Glenodine Street on February 17, 1944, in Plainview Texas, Glenna attended and graduated from the Kress school system where she met the love of her life, Hershel Dwaine Callendar who she later married on December 19, 1962.
The two moved to West Texas for Hershel to pursue his dream in Law enforcement, Glenna Stayed home and began building her family with Sons Shane Lynn, and Jesse Shawn.
Glenna started a career with M&N Metals where she retired from doing Accounts Receivables and Collections after 25-plus years.
Glenna was Widowed from Hershel on May 17, 2005, after 43 years of marriage
Glenna remarried Elder McCarty on August 19, 2010, and was married until June 28, 2017, when she was widowed a second time.
Glenna always Loved the Lord and was strong in her faith in him and instilled that in her children. Glenna was a member of the Eisenhower Church of Christ in Odessa Texas.
Glenna is preceded in Death by her parents, Hershel; her son, Shane, Elder; her grandson, Damon; her brothers, Billy, Dale, Cory; and her sister-in-law, Corine Street.
Glenna is survived by her youngest son, Jesse Shawn; his wife, Diane; their children, Amanda and husband Blake Orr, Rogan, Wife Shelby, his children Lilly Rea, MacKenzie Grace, Olivia Lux, granddaughter Abbey, her Husband Hunter Graves, granddaughter Morgan Callendar and great-granddaughter Madison and sister-in-law Joann Street.
Glenna would love to be remembered for her loving heart, constant smile, infectious laughter, and her love for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
