Gloria Hinson

Gloria Marie Hinson, 73, was born into this world October 22, 1934; the Lord welcomed her into his loving arms September 27, 2008. She is at peace.

She was born in Trout, Louisiana on October 22, 1934. She married Leonard L. Hinson on June 15, 1974. They were married for 34 years. She is a member of Life Change-Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Hinson of Odessa; sons, Jack Gotcher and Danny Gotcher, both of Fredericksburg, David Hinson of Gardendale and Michael Hinson of Springtown; daughters, Elaine August, Nancy Matthews and Leah Hinson, all of Odessa, Cheryl Hinson of Funiak Springs, Florida, Connie Eicher of Gardendale and Connie Boehn of Ruidoso, New Mexico; brothers, Gene McMillen of Silsbee, Frank Collier and Doug Collier, both of Beaumont; sister, Glenn Collier of Benson, Sue Anders of Stamford and Ann Taylor of Dallas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

I shall pass through this world but once, If therefore, there be any kindness I can show; or any good I can do; let me do it now, let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, October 3, 2008 in Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Johnnie Thomson officiating.
