Gonzalo Lujan

Gonzalo Lujan, 86, of Odessa, passed away on January 18, 2019 in Odessa, TX.

A rosary will be read at 7:00pm on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:30am on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Gonzalo was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua to Felix Lujan and Tomasa Ramirez on January 10, 1933. He went to school in Ojinaga. He married Ramona Arenivas in Ojinaga on April 10, 1957. Gonzalo worked in construction for many years.

Gonzalo Lujan is preceded in death by his parents Tomasa Ramirez and Felix Lujan, brothers Francisco Lujan and Gorgorio Lujan and sister Juana Juliana.

Gonzalo is survived by his wife Ramona Arenivas Lujan; sons Cecilio Lujan and Gonzalo Lujan, Jr.; daughters Maria Dolores Pena and Dyah Mehaffey; brothers Felix Lujan, Enrique Lujan, and Leocadio Lujan; sisters Tiquia Lujan, Sofia Valentine, and Luz Maria Mireles; 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Lujan, Elias Lujan Galindo, Gonzalo Lujan, III, Giovanni Lujan, Vanessa Morales, Jennifer Acosta, Zacni Campos and Janelle Vazquez.
