Guadalupe Garcia

Guadalupe Garcia, age 82, of Odessa, TX, passed away on October 6, 2020 in Odessa.

Guadalupe was born December 7, 1937 to Augustin Garcia and Antonia Carreon in Wharton, TX. He attended school at Redbluff in Edna, TX. He married Martha Garcia on September 23, 1982 in Odessa, TX. He worked as a welder for Bellows Systems for 23 years. He also worked for General Dynamics in Lubbock, TX, where he helped build F-111 fighter jets.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by his parents, Augustin Garcia and Antonia Carreon; siblings, Tulles, Pablo, Leonor, Frances, Joel and Aurora.

He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Garcia, Ida Garcia, Ricky and Shelly Garcia, Robert and Stacy Garcia, Leticia and Victor Gomez, Michael and Lydia Garcia, Victoria and Sergio Torres, Aaron Garcia, Eva Thach, Antonio Garcia; nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00-6:00 PM, Monday, October 12, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Blanca Cordova of Spanish Faith Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ricardo Garcia, Michael Garcia, Aaron Garcia, Mark Torres, Sergio Torres and Fernando Brito, Jr.
