Guy Hutson

Guy Rock Hutson, Sr, of Odessa, passed away on September 17, 2014 at his home
surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be at Sunset Funeral Home on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 68 pm.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 3 PM at Second Baptist
Church with Dr. Randy Duckett, of Second Baptist Church officiating. Interment will
follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Guy was born November 14, 1953 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX to A.K. and
Bonnie Hutson. He graduated from Permian High School in 1972. He attended U.T.E.P in
El Paso and also North Texas in Denton, TX. He married the love of his life, Carol Franklin
on December 31, 1976 in Odessa. He worked at Katty Industries, a family owned business. He was president of Katty Industries when it was sold in 2010. He presently owns
Alcan Supplies. He attended Crossroads Fellowship at the time of his death. He was a
member of the Odessa Country Club, where he enjoyed a good game of golf,
especially with his son and grandkids. He loved playing guitar with his grandson Jordan
and collecting guitars. Rock coached football, baseball and basketball for various
sporting leagues. Rock valued his time with his children by being involved in their sports
activities.

He is preceded in death by his parents, A.K. and Bonnie Hutson, nephew, Jordan Michael Hutson, niece, Katty Marie Brown and brother in law, Robert Franklin.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Hutson, daughter, Amber Hutson Holloway and husband Joe Holloway of Odessa, son, Rocky Hutson Jr and fiance Samantha Wimberly of Odessa, brothers, Ken Hutson of San Angelo, Mike Hutson and wife Gwen of Granberry, TX. and
Wayne Hutson and wife Cheryl of San Angelo, sister, Patty and husband John Pool of
Collingville, TX., Father in law and mother in law, Richard and Norma Franklin, grandchildren, Jordan Hutson, Hunter White, Hutson Sims, and Grayson Hutson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Dar for all of his care of Rock.
