Gwen Presley

G. Farrell Slim Presley, age 59, of Odessa, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 in Odessa after a brief illness.

Farrell was born December 7, 1951 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to F.C. and Belle D. Presley. He graduated from Carlsbad High school in 1968 and moved to Odessa shortly there after.

Farrell was assistant manager of Whites Auto Store in Odessa and was manager of Whites Auto Store in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He moved back to Odessa where he opened his own waterbed store. He enjoyed working with wood and building furniture. At the time of his death he ran Deck Depot.

Farrell was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jean Presley.

He is survived by two sisters, Sharon Whitaker and husband Dave of Pennsylvania, and Kristi Presley of Austin several caring aunts, uncles, and cousins and many good friends.

He will be missed by all.

Farrell told a friend he did not want a fuss made. He will be cremated under the direction of Sunset Funeral Home.

Visitation with the family will be held 57 PM Friday, November 4, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home.
