Harold Wayne Adams, age 80, left this life on April 11, 2018 in Odessa, TX
Harold was born December 10, 1937 to Johnny and Lucille Adams in Winsboro, TX. The family moved to Hobbs, NM where he lived until he attended Odessa College, moving to Odessa. Harold met his wife, Bobbie, of 58 years at Sherwood Park swimming pool in Odessa. They were married on October 9, 1959. They raised two children together living in Odessa then El Paso and then Houston, until their retirement in Granbury. They return to Odessa in 2013.
Harold worked for El Paso Products and had an early retirement at 55 years old. He loved to go fishing; the smellier the bait, the better. He and Bobbie also enjoyed many trips to Cabo San Lucas with their friends. Harold was also a bowler and he thought, an excellent pinochle player.
Harold fought hydrocephalus and dementia with all he had. The last year he was taken care of by the great people at Orchard Park Memory Care Unit.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lucille Adams; his son, Michael Scott Adams and his grandson, Ryan Kent Vandever.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bobbie Adams; daughter, Christie Vandever and her husband, Dave; grandchildren, (who called him itty bitty), Eric Vandever, Alicia Phillips and her husband, Hunter.
Graveside Services are at 10:00 am, Monday, April 16, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell and Pastor Tim Halstead officiating.
