Harold Carrigan

Harold (HD) Carrigan, of Odessa, TX, passed away on February 17, 2018 in Odessa, TX.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Alan Weakland officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Harold was born June 21, 1928 to R.D. and Lorene Carrigan in Lampasas, TX. Harold served our country in the United States Army for 2 years before marrying Neva Wood on January 7, 1949 in Llano, TX. Harold moved Neva and daughter, Linda to West TX in 1953 and their son, Michael was born shortly after. He worked in the oilfield as a sales representative until his retirement. Harold and Neva spent the next 20 years traveling the United States in their RV.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, six siblings and one granddaughter.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Collum and her husband, Jim of Odessa; son, Michael Carrigan of Odessa; brother, Dale Carrigan of Lampasas, TX; sister, Shirley Sumerour of Waco, TX; three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchildren and one special niece, Louann Rabe.

Pallbearers will be Jason Collum, Justin Collum, Jacob Collum, Christian Carrigan, Marvin Fulsom and Thomas Fulsom.
