Hayden Muschalek

Hayden Christopher Muschalek, 14, of Odessa was met by his heavenly Father on Friday, August 25, 2017.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Crossroads Fellowship in Odessa. Burial will follow at the Lubbock City Cemetery.

Hayden was born on April 25, 2003 to Christopher Michael Muschalek and Annie May Cook in Lubbock, Texas. Hayden attended Blanton Elementary, Nimitz Jr. High and was currently a student at Permian High School. Hayden played basketball since he was 5 years old. He played on Select Basketball for Odessa Force Elite, Nimitz Jr. High and for the Boys and Girls Club. Hayden enjoyed playing PlayStation Live and had a large group following. Hayden had his own style; he loved shoes and clothes. Hayden was a gentle soul and liked to joke around. Hayden loved his family and was his big brother's shadow most of the time.

Hayden's memory will be kept alive by his mother and step-father, Ann and Cannon Beaver; father and step-mother Chris and Melynda Muschalek; sister Sarah Muschalek, brother Jordan Muschalek; step-sisters Camille Beaver, Parker Griggs, step-brother Zach Beaver; maternal grandparents Omer and Jade Cook; fraternal grandmother Beverly Muschalek; maternal great grandmother Jackie Ward; fraternal great grandmother Fauncine Hillbish; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
