Hazel Jackson-Boling

Hazel Marie JacksonBoling 77, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Odessa, TX. She was born on February 24, 1933 in Walnut Springs, TX to Elery Thomas Jackson and Willie Lea Crow. She married J.C. Boling on November 9, 1951 in Lovington New Mexico. She was the manager of the Stardust for 23 years, everyone knew her as Mama Hazel and she sold Avon for a number of years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.C. and son Bobby Lee Boling.

She is survived by her daughters Vicki Lipsey and husband Ron of Odessa, TX, Beverly Wicks and husband Larry of Rawlings, Wyoming sons, James Boling and wife Joyce of Gatesville, TX, Michael Jackson and wife Dinah of Odessa sister, Dorothy Schrader of Wyoming grandchildren Tammy Rutledge, Jimmy Boling, Angie Boling, Michael Jackson, Jr., Ray Collier, Phillip Jackson, Buckey Lipsey, Michael Lipsey, Crystal Kaio and Amanda Strutski, seventeen greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 11:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James C. Boling officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Funeral Home.
