Hector Bullard

Hector Bullard, 59 years old, of Odessa, TX made his journey to heaven surrounded by loved ones on January 22, 2022, in Odessa, TX.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.  Funeral Services and burial will be held on January 28, 2022.  Church service is at Odessa Christian Faith Center (OCFC) at 1:00 PM, with reception following at Impact City Church reception building.

Hector Bullard was born in Yoakum, TX to Guadalupe Bullard and James Morris Bullard on August 28, 1962.  He attended Ector High School and married Martha Hernandez in March of 1982 in Odessa, TX.  He worked for a long period as a contract welder in the oilfield with various service companies.  He turned his love of shoe shining into his full-time occupation.  He was a generous man who wore his heart on his sleeve and his infectious laugh always made him the life of the party.  Towards his later years he experienced the love of Christ and gave his life to Christ.  Because of his newfound relationship with Christ, his final years were spent preparing himself for his eternal life in Heaven.  He filled his days growing in the word and loving his family, healing, and strengthening his relationships through love and forgiveness.

Hector Bullard is preceded in death by James Morris Bullard, Guadalupe Bullard, Herman Velasquez, Ronnie Velasquez, and Joe Velasquez.

Hector Bullard is survived by James Morris Bullard, Elisabeth Ann Bullard, Yvette Aguirre, Justin Bullard, Victor Balderama Jr., Adam Balderama, Maddison Bullard, Danielle Bullard, Meaghan Bullard, Brooklyn Aguirre, Emma Aguirre, Olivia Carmona, Ruben Velasquez, Israel Velasquez, Gilbert Velasquez, and David Bullard.

Pallbearers will be Victor Balderama Jr., Adam Balderama, Ernest Anzualdua, Victor Balderama Sr., David Bullard Jr., and Jeremiah Ramirez.
