Helen Cook

Helen Lynette Cook, age 83, of Odessa, TX, passed away on January 21, 2018 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Monte Kreis officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Helen was born January 13, 1935 to William Henry Munn and Troy Lou (Blocker) Munn in Midland, TX. She was raised in Odessa, TX and graduated from Odessa High School. She worked mainly as a bookkeeper for E&J Tile. She attended church at Crescent Park Baptist Church.

Helen is survived by her three children, Travis Cook and his wife, LaDonna of Austin, TX, David Paul Cook and his wife, Nancy of Odessa, TX, Malinda Blocker and her husband, Kyle of Stanton, TX; four step children, JoAn Lee of Corpus Christi, TX, Jim Cook and his wife, Debby of Big Spring, TX, Anita Denny of Corpus Christi, TX, Doug Cook and his wife, Cindy of Kyle, TX; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; three brothers, Pat Munn and his wife, Jan, Mike Munn and his wife, Sue, Jimmy Munn and his wife, Suzan; sisters Mary Steed and Ann Page and her husband, Dennis, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
