Herman Peitchinsky

Herman Lee Peitchinsky, 74, passed away Friday morning April 10, 2009 at Medical Center Hospital. Herman was born June 17, 1934 in Carrizo Springs, TX. Herman was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Bonnie Peitchinsky and also two brothers, Jesse Peitchinsky and Raymond Johnson.

He is survived by his wife Mary Peitchinsky whom he married in Odessa on August 14, 1997. He also has one daughter Desiree Peitchinsky of Giddings, TX and two step-daughters; Kimberly Branch of Odessa and Kari Taylor of Spring, TX. He also has two sisters Cleo Owen and Geri Huie of San Angelo, TX; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Herman was also a graduate of Sonora High School in the class of 1952. He then served in the Army and is a veteran of the Korean War. Later in life Herman became an independent oil field drilling consultant and worked all over the world. Herman was loved, adored and cherished by many and will be truly missed.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 13, 2009 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with David Newton officiating and interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
