Hung Nguyen

Hung Van Nguyen, age 58, of Odessa, TX, passed away on January 27, 2016 in Sonora, TX.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm, Friday, January 29, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 4:00 pm, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Hung Van Nguyen was born July 11, 1957 to Nguyen Van Nhieu and Carol Hagen in Vietnam. He married Yen Thi Le in 1974 in Vietnam. Hung worked at Orrex Plastic, of Odessa, as a general laborer for 11 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the South Vietnam Army.

Hung is preceded in death by his parents, Nguyen Van Nhieu and Carol Hagen and a brother, Clyde Hagen.

He is survived by his loving wife, Yen Thi Le; sons, Hung Phuc Nguyen, Van Cuong Nguyen, Ken Nguyen, Quang Duc Nguyen; brothers, Larry Hagen, Garry Hagen; sister, Carla Bolt; grandchildren, Jacob Nguyen, Yazzie Nguyen, Zuni Nguyen, Lucky Nguyen, Luke Nguyen, Lincoln Nguyen and daughter in law, Oanh Ha.

Pallbearers will be Hung Nguyen, Van Nguyen, Ken Nguyen, Quang Nguyen, Garry Hagen Jr and Garry Hagen.
