Ilma Siddall

Ilma Cloe Siddall, 89, passed away on March 7, 2008. She was born to Jesse and Callie Bairrington on September 22, 1918 in Hill County. She spent most of her youth in Coleman County. She married James Siddall in Coleman, Texas on April 15, 1945. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church.

She was the epitome of a homemaker. Having an immaculate home and home cooked meals for her family were a priority for her. Her two sons, Jimmie and Bill were her joys. She loved to crochet and collect sea shells. She had an extensive shell collection that she was very proud of. Before they retired they spent many years on inspection jobs that took them across the United States.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Lela Bedell, Burnadatte Cox, Jessie Mae Roberts, Horace, Noble, and Odell Bairrington. She is survived by her husband; sons Jimmie and wife Carol of Odessa; Bill and wife Bonnie of Hillsboro, TX; grandchildren Keith Siddall and wife LouAnn of Madison, IN; HollyAnn Petree and husband John of Midland, TX; Shaun Siddall and wife Jessica of Albuquerque, NM; Casey Siddall of Hobbs, NM; Heather Hawkins and husband Kenneth of Seminole, TX, eight great-grandchildren survive her; Callie, Noah, Toben, and Ava Petree; Shauntell, Aliyah, Kenneth, and Alarah Hawkins. She is also survived by sister, Billie Jones of Delta, Utah.

The family wishes to thank the staff of wing four of Parks Retirement Center for their care of our wife and mother. Our thanks to Home Hospice and especially Donella, for their compassion and care. Our love and thanks to Dr. Francisco Salcido for his tender care and concern.

Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday March 12, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday March 13, 2008 with Rev. Andy Harris and Coy Siddall presiding. Burial will be at Brown Ranch in Colman County at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 14, 2008. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
