Ina Davis

Ina Ruth Davis, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Hospice House in Odessa.

She was born on February 23, 1922 in Ballinger, Texas to Perry A. and Mattie Christine Pullin. She married Spencer Davis on September 21, 1940.

Ruth loved to laugh and enjoyed sharing stories with her many friends. She loved selling Fashion 220 makeup. She was a manager for them for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Davis, mother, father, six brothers, and four sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Darrell Wayne Davis of Houston, and her sister, Anna Beth Whitley of Odessa.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel in Odessa, with John Snider of Gardendale Church of Christ officiating.

Family visitation will be at 6:00 PM Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 6516 Piedmont in Odessa.

Visitation at Ballinger will be at Lange Funeral Home, 908 Eight Street, from 11:00 to 12:00 AM, Friday, June 8, 2012. Burial will be at 1:30 PM Friday, June 8, 2012 at Norwood Cemetery in Runnels County.

Pallbearers will be Richard Smith, Weldon Whitley, George Hoover, Luis Salcido, Bud Scroggins, Dex Davis, Carl Neithercut, and Gerry Hix, in Odessa, and Richard Smith, Weldon Whitley and Lorine Wilson in Ballinger.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House Foundation, Inc. 903 North Sam Houston Avenue, Odessa, Texas 79761.
