Inocencio Munoz

Our loving father Inocencio L. Munoz has gone to be with our lord, he passed away at 89 years of age on January 17, 2024, at his home in Midland, TX.

Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday January 23, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Odessa, TX. A rosary will begin at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday January 24, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Odessa, TX.

Our father Inocencio was born in Kingsville, TX to Tiburcio Munoz and Rosa Lomas Munoz on June 27, 1934. He served in the military reserves for 32 years, he enjoyed listening to his favorite Tejano groups, he loved and had a passion for playing the accordion, he enjoyed watching classic western movies and old-time horror (Frankenstein)movies. Cookies and candies were his favorite treats and in his quiet time he would spend it reading his bible and coloring in his collection of coloring books.

Inocencio is preceded in death by his former wife, Elisa Munoz; a son, Felix Munoz; a daughter, Rosalinda Munoz. He is survived by a sister, Elida Salinas, and her family of Sarita, TX; his children, Rudolfo Munoz, Inocencio Munoz Jr and spouse, Jose Luis Munoz all of Odessa, TX, Rosanna Herrera of Midland, TX and Jesus Ramon Munoz and spouse of Austin, TX. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. 

We will miss seeing you in your room sitting in front of the TV then asking when we were going to play loteria, until we see you again dad, we love you!
