Irene Lueken

Irene Minyard Lueken age 93 passed away on April 16, 2013 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be from 57 PM, Friday April 19th at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday April 20th at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Irene was born in Arlington, Massachusetts to Arthur and Stella Martel on August 2, 1919. She was involved in the Hospital Auxiliary at Medical Center Hospital, Odessa Country Club Ladies Golf Association, and Odessa Country Club Womens Association. She volunteered at Meals on Wheels and other charities. Her passions included bridge, golf, family, travel, and she loved and cherished the memories made at the family reunions.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents, her five brothers, Jimmie Minyard, and Behrend Lueken.

She is survived by her children Diane Cheatham Jim, Nelson Minyard Denise, Melanie Sipes, and Cindy Kimmell Bruce and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels.
