Ismael Tavarez

Ismael Q. Tavarez, age 77, of Odessa, passed away on April 23, 2014 in Odessa.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Holy Redeemer Church with Father Mamachan Joseph officiating.

Ismael Tavarez was born in Presidio, Texas to Isabel and Dolores Tavarez on January 21, 1937.

He married Alicia Ornelas on October 31, 1954 in Presidio, Texas. He worked as a welderforeman at General Tire Co. for forty years. He was a veteran and served in the Navy.

Ismael is preceded in death by his parents Isabel and Dolores Tavarez.

Ismael is survived by his wife Alicia O. Tavarez, daughters Amelia Moreno and husband Alfonso, Evangelina Mijares, his sons Jaime Tavarez and wife Rosanne, Ismael Tavarez Jr. and wife Lisa, David Tavarez, sister Yolanda Olguin and husband Joe, brother Hector Tavarez, 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
