J.L. Jake Walraven of Odessa, Texas passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be come and go at Sunset Memorial Gardens Sunday, December 15, 2013.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Brian Trant of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church officiating.

Jake was born November 2, 1932, in Colorado City, Texas to Lonnie and Ollie Walraven. He went to school at Courtney School in Stanton, Texas.
He married the love of his life Mildred on October 26, 1951 in Stanton, Texas.
He owned and operated W.F.J Drilling Tools since 1977.

Jake was preceded in death by Johnnie Lee Walraven, son and Terrie Elliott, daughter.

Jake is survived by spouse Mildred, Donnie son and wife Brenda Walraven, daughters Sherrie Reeves and Irma and husband Bo Steding, 2 brothers, Bill and Kenneth and 1 sister Shirley.

Grandchildren Sarah Bentley, Stacy Steding, Amanda Walraven, Jack, Cathryn, and Johnny Elliott, 7 great grandchildren.
