Jackie Don Kennedy, 78 of Odessa, Texas entered into the eternal presence of the Lord on March 1, 2019 in Odessa. Jackie was born on October 4, 1940 in Seagraves, Texas to William Audry Kennedy and Mildred Inez Land Kennedy.

Jackie spent all his life in West Texas and most of it in Odessa. He was a graduate of Permian High School and was an avid MOJO football fan. Family played an important role in Jackie's life. He enjoyed family get togethers and special occasions that brought family together. Jackie worked for Odessa Babbitt Bearing for a several years. He worked for many years in the shipping and receiving department at United Industries, until he retired several years ago. Jackie was loved by all who knew him. Jackie loved the Lord and was a life long member of First Assembly of God Church in Odessa. He was a practical thinker, it was black or white, right or wrong. When Jackie was your friend you had a friend for life. Jackie loved new trucks and usually drove one. His nieces and nephews also saw the benefits as Jack let them drive often before they had a license and without parental permission
