Jackie Templeton

Jackie Lynn Jack Templeton, age 74 of Odessa, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 in Odessa.

He was born October 16, 1937 in San Angelo, Texas to the late Andrew Jack and Minnie Wilson Templeton. Jack was raised in San Angelo and later moved to Odessa to work as seismograph operator. He met and married his wife Pat and settled in Odessa. He continued his career in the petroleum industry, retiring from B.J. in 2000 as safety coordinator. Jacks hobbies include fishing, hunting, barbequing and camping. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and taught Defensive Driving at Odessa Senior Center.

Survivors include his wife Pat of Odessa, his son, Coy Templeton and his wife Melinda of Bastrop, his granddaughter, Brooke Templeton of Lewisville and his greatgrand daughter, Ruth Templeton also from Lewisville.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Friday, September 21, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Northside Baptist Church with Clydel Chapman officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the Dead End Gang Sunday School Class.
