Jacqueline Jackie H. Anderson, 62, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Medical Center Hospital.BRBRJackie was born in Clifton, Tx., to Carl Cecil and Ada Mae Henry on Dec. 12, 1946. She was raised in Goldsmith, Tx., along with many different Philips camps threw the years and moved to Odessa, Tx. in 1963.
She attended Odessa High School. Member of Sherwood Baptist Church and a Life member of VFW Post 4372 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a home maker and Manager of the VFW Flea Market.
She and Linwood Wayne Anderson were married on Mar. 6, 1964, in Goldsmith, Tx., and enjoyed 44 years of marriage together. In 1964 they moved to Mansfield, Louisiana and had two children then returned to Odessa in 1975.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Cecil Henry; niece Susan Renee Henry and husband Linwood Wayne Anderson.
She is survived by her mother, Ada Mae Henry; son, Linwood Wayne Anderson Jr. and wife, Melinda Anderson; daughter, Donna Sue Anderson; granddaughter, Brittney Licole Chamlee and her husband, Christopher Shane Chamlee; grandson, Michael Wayne Anderson; great-grandson, Mason Shane Chamlee; sister, Linda Darnell Anderson and husband Charlie Anderson; and brother Danny Ray Henry and wife Linda Henry, all of Odessa. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.BRBRServices will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Sherwood Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Brother Ivy Shelton will be officiating.
