Jacqueline Rogers

Jacqueline (Cash) Rogers, 78, of Odessa, joined her family in heaven on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in Midland.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, August 29, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Sherry Buffington officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Jacqueline was born in Georgetown, South Carolina to Ernest Carlton Cash and Mary Etta Barfield on March 20, 1938. She and her husband Kenneth Lee Rogers retired to Odessa in 2001. She knew no strangers. She could talk to and get along with anyone. Jacqueline was always fun to be around and would be the first one to help if needed. Her memory will be cherished by many and she will be greatly missed.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Lee Rogers, her parents Ernest and Marry Etta Cash, her brothers Preston and Jimmy Cash, and her sisters Mary Ernestine Cash and Ada J. Hiott.

She is survived by her four children: Clifford Rogers of Aztec, NM, Kenneth James Rogers of Tucson, AZ, Vivian (Rogers) Popenhagen and husband Jim of Odessa, TX, and David Rogers of Aztec, NM, two sisters Sherry Buffington of Dallas, TX and Linda McPeak of Pilot, VA, 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
