James Aldridge, Jr.

James S. Aldridge, age 88, Of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 in Las Vegas.

James was a former Odessa resident of 35 years, before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000.

Jim was born on August 28, 1925 in Best, TX. He was formerly employed by Carbery Fabrication and Clyde Construction, among others.

Jim was preceded in death by his bride of 60 years, Zelma, in 2004.

Jim is survived by his four sons, Darrel Aldridge and his wife Cheryl of Hideaway, Texas Joe Aldridge and his wife Sherry of Las Vegas, Nevada Jack Aldridge and his wife Jamie of Blanchard, Oklahoma and James L. Aldridge and his wife Debbie of Ocoe, Florida. He is also survived by four grand children and one greatgrandchild.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX. and was officiated by his grandson, Justin Aldridge.
