James Kendall Bridges

July 25, 1941 - May 17, 2016

Kendall Bridges went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2016 following a brief illness. He was born in Eastland, Texas to James and Lois Bridges on July 25, 1941. He was married to Doris Bridges for over 46 years. Kendall enjoyed hunting, fishing, and photography. Most recently his favorite interests were his two grandchildren. He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and older brother, George.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Marsha Bridges and granddaughter, Makenzie Louise Bridges, and grandson, Taylor Robert Bridges all of Odessa. He also leaves sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen Faye and Mike Phelps and Nina Beth and Ricky Daniels of Odessa and a number of nieces and nephews.

Family visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, May 20, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Bryon McWilliams officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Odessa.
