James Foster

James "Jimmy" Doyle Foster, age 66, of Odessa, TX, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, June 2, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Herget officiating.

Jimmy was born May 20, 1951 in Memphis, TX. He attended school in Crane, TX. Jimmy married Cathrine Scott, July 30, 1971 in Tyler, TX. He graduated from Odessa College. Jimmy worked as a field gauger for Gulf and Chevron for 25 years. He served in the United States Air Force. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family and taking care of his dogs.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his brother Ricky Foster.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Cathy Foster, his daughters, Lacrisia Tolifson and husband, Troy, Angie Foster and Leslie Foster; grandsons, Gerald Tolifson and his wife, Sydney, Jacob Tolifson and wife, Regan, Nick Tolifson, Riley Foster and Caleb Nwaokelemeh; great grandson, Ford Tolifson; great granddaughter, Madilyn Tolifson; sister, Dottie, sisters-in-law, Jackie Foster, Carmon Seider and husband, Jack; brothers-in-law, George Scott and wife, Runé, Wayne Scott and wife, Cynthia, Sam Scott and wife, Nancye, David Scott and wife, Kim and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Tolifson, Jacob Tolifson, Nick Tolifson, Jeff Hatfield, Harvey Andrews and Alex Lumby.
