James Golden

James Allen Golden, 71, of Odessa, TX, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Midland Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 pm, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Jimmy Braswell, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

James was born in Cash County, TX to Sam and Jennie Golden on September 29, 1942. He married Ann Golden on October 13, 1959. He worked as a RoustaboutTool Pusher for Blakely Construction for 35 years.

James loved to watch the Price Is Right, Wrestling and Young and the Restless. His favorite movie was Pure Country and all types of Westerns. James also enjoyed going to Bill Jones place to go fishing with all his brothers.

James is preceded in death by both his parents Sam and Jennie Golden and a brother William Harold Golden.

James is survived by his wife Ann Golden, Anna and spouse Andy Martin, Kathy and spouse Donnie Wilson, Tracy and spouse Dennis Newton, Siblings Kenneth Golden, Phil Golden, Freddy Golden, Donna Joe Hayes, Candance Wright, Anna Sue Williams, Beverly Snelson, Grandchildren, La Donna Ann Wilson, Dana Sorenson, Andy Jr. Martin, James Martin, Crystal Martin, Kasen Newton and Kirsten Ann Golden, GreatGrandchildren Riley Ann Wilson, Corben Sorenson and two more on the way, Ivan Betancourt.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Golden, Phil Golden, Freddy Golden, Donnie Wilson, Andy Martin and Dennis Newton.
