James Mcalpine

James Aubry McAlpine, age 89, of Odessa, TX, passed away on May 16, 2015 in Odessa.

Graveside Services will be at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Matt Wilson officiating.

James was born on December 03, 1925 to Leonard and Floy Blanche McAlpine in Stephenville, TX. He enlisted in the United States Army on April 24, 1944. He served during World War II and earned two bronze stars and a purple heart. He was honorably discharged April 13, 1948.

James married Alice Pauline Adams April 22, 1955 but lost her to cancer in 1972. He then married Dorothy Brannon January 6, 1973. She passed away in 1999.

He is preceded in death by his parents, both wives and his sister, Mary Jo Morrison.

He is survived by his brother, Bob McAlpine, of Odessa, TX; sister, Doris Brown of Afton, Oklahoma and nieces and nephews.
