James Paysinger

James Jim Cam Paysinger, age 72, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 in Odessa.

He was born October 26, 1938 in Stafford, Kansas to Robert and Vivian Paysinger. In 1956 he graduated from high school in Liberal, Kansas. He attended Wichita University in Wichita, Kansas from 19561960. He served in the U. S. Army, Special Forces, from 1970 until 1972.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Stanford and his grandson, Randy Nuckols.

Survivors include his wife, Melba Paysinger of Odessa his son, Desmond Stanford of Baton Rouge, Louisiana his daughter, Pam Nuckols of Odessa his brothers, Bob of Raymore, Missouri and Dennis of Yukon, Oklahoma granddaughters, Christina Stanford and Jennifer Stanford and great granddaughter, Emily Nuckols.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
