James Rogers

James Madison Rogers, 77, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born on December 5, 1933 to Rancefer and Clara Rogers in Rotan, Texas. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 until 1956 during the Korean War.

James is survived by his wife, Barbara Rogers of Odessa, two daughters Debbie Rogers and Tammy Rogers both of Odessa and brother, W.A. Rogers of Odessa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rancefer and Clara Rogers, and brothers, Thurman Rogers and Winfred Rogers.

He married Barbara Rogers on November 17, 1956 in Rotan, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Cook officiating. Music will be by Rev. Troy Stevenson. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
