James Sprabary

James Olen Sprabary, age 72, of Odessa, TX, went to Heaven to be with our Lord on October 6, 2014 in Midland, TX.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 68 PM at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

James was born on December 5, 1941 in Denton, TX to Harvey and Flossie Sprabary. James attended school in Dallas, TX and graduated from Thomas Jefferson and became a business man. He married Marie Rose Dehm on April 22, 1970 in Luxembourg, Europe. James served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. James loved the outdoors, fishing and gardening. Traveling and food were a passion of James and his wife, Marie Rose. James was a man of God and always put his family first. He was a kind and gracious man. Always thinking of others. His favorite color was purple. We love you forever my dear husband and our wonderful Dad. You will be greatly missed.

James is preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Flossie Sprabary, his son James Jr. Sprabary and his siblings HL, Vernon, Newell, Arthur, Travis, Viola and Delores.
James is survived by his loving wife, Marie Rose Sprabary, his children Nathalie Sprabary, Margeaux, Joshua, Meagan, Debbie Delarosa, Chantal Balboul and Travis Sprabary, his grandchildren Jayden James Rodriguez, Emma Ellie Rodriguez and Aria Rose Cortez, his brother Jacky Sprabary and his sister Patsy Sprabary.

The family of James Olen Sprabary wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. George, Dr. Redding, Dr, Liu, all the nurses at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Dr. Ortega and all the nurses at LTC in Midland, TX.
