James Weaver

James Lewis Weaver, 65 of Odessa passed away on November 29, 2018.

Visitation will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home from 6-8 pm on Friday, November 30, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Vestal, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

James was born on January 26, 1953 to Bill and Leta Weaver. He married Terresia McFatter on August 11, 1972 in Odessa, Texas. He worked various jobs in the West Texas oil fields and spend 28 years working for National Oilwell.

James had a creative mind and was always looking for his next project. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to camp, hike, and ride four wheelers with his grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his father, Bill Weaver.

James is survived by his mother, Leta and his wife, of 46 years Terresia, his children, Melissa Woody of Lubbock, Texas and son, Todd Weaver of Richmond, Texas and his four grandchildren, Samantha, David, Jakob, and Olivia; his four brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the wonderful care and people of Hospice of Odessa.
