This is how we remember of our dear Jamie DLynn McKinney: Jamie was born on January 16, 1985 in Odessa. She attended Noel Elementary School, Crockett Junior High and graduated from Odessa High School in 2003. While at Crockett and OHS, she was a member of the orchestra and was an accomplished violinist. Jamie was blessed with a zest for life and a compassionate and caring heart. She longed to show her love for others by obtaining her Certified Nursing Assistants degree from Odessa College in 2005. She was able to share her compassion and the love for Christ with the many patients she cared for as an employee of Nurses Unlimited. Jamies endearing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
On February 10, 2010, God blessed Jamie with a precious son, Shane Andrew. He instantly became the joy of her life and continued to be so until her very last day on this Earth. Not only was Shane a joy and a blessing to Jamie and her family, he has become the same to all who have come to know and love him. He is a little gift of light given to the world through Jamie to all of us from the light of her heart and soul, Jesus.
As a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church, Jamie delighted in orchestrating the various aspects of a Vacation Bible School program. Her special gifts and selfless contribution brought joy and the message of salvation to hundreds of little children.
Our Jamie left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 10, 2014. She is survived by her son Shane Andrew, loving parents Mr. Mrs. Jimmy McKinney, brother Jimmy Jr. McKinney sister in law, Ambo Williford, sister Joni Cae Stoker and husband Austin Stoker, nephew Cash Stoker and soon to bless this world Nash Stoker.
Jamie was preceded in death by her grandparents Pepaw and Memaw Wylie and Lonnie Izetta McKinney.
Those of us, who knew and loved Jamie, rest in the assurance that she is at peace with Jesus today. We take comfort in knowing that her life of trials on this Earth has ended.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, but take heart I have overcome the world.
