On January 31, 2012, our beloved Maga, Jane Nadine Cox, was called home. She left this world peacefully surrounded by her family.
She was born June 26, 1925 in Nisland, South Dakota, the middle child of 13 siblings, to John Velma Kessler. She was an inspiration to many. A true Rosy Riviter, who worked in a munitions plant, raised 6 younger brothers, held both a pilots license and a teaching certificate, and on top of it all she was an awesome Mom Grandma. She touched many lives throughout the years, by caring for children in her home, cooking for her teenage grandkids their friends, and having a deep involvement in her church. She enjoyed travelling the world, visiting Alaska, Hawaii, England, the Netherlands, Scotland, and several other continental states. Her most loved hobby was playing with her 8 grandkids, and later with her 18 greatgrandkids. She was always ready to throw a baseball, read a story, or put together a puzzle. She taught each one of them the books of the Bible, and when she finally ran out of things to do for the day, she would sit and write all the names of the states and their capitals, in alphabetical order. She was an amazing woman
