Jane Rehders

Jane Wininger Rehders, 95 of Odessa, TX passed away on January 14, 2017 in Odessa.

Celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Andrew Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell, officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Jane Wininger Rehders was born in Good Pine, LA to C. Benton Wininger and M. Kate Bonner on June 24, 1921. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1939. She married Malcolm Dean "Bud" Rehders in Farmington, NM. She retired from Superior Electric in 1983. She was active in ABWA and Make A Wish. She and close friends Betty Winfrey and Irene Scott had small ceramics business B.J. Creations.

She was preceded in death by both parents, sisters Janice Wininger and Bonnie Wininger Gross and husband M.D. "Bud" Rehders.

She is survived by her sister Rene Cotton, her son Herb Rehders and wife Candy, granddaughter Jamie Miller and husband Harry; great granddaughters Ciara and Briana Miller, granddaughter Katherine Rehders, son Benny Rehders and daughters Kerri Heflin; great grandsons Corey Heflin and wife Tally, great-great grandson Canaan Heflin; great-grandsons Tyler Heflin and Colton Summers; and granddaughter Mirenda Morgan and husband Terry, great granddaughters Tera Roberts and husband Brett and Nicole McMurrian; granddaughter Melissa Warren and husband Mike, great granddaughter Stephanie Hobbs and husband Mike, great-great grandchildren Payton Hobbs and Liam Hobbs, daughter Carolyn Stevenson and granddaughter Toni Marschall, great granddaughters Hayley and Keeley Marschall, grandson Jeffrey Kyle Hayter.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Irene Scott, Don Roberts, Teresa Chambers, Elaine Davisson, Bobby Jernigan, Freddie Smith and Mike Griffis.

Jane Rehder's family would like to give a special thank you to Brookdale, ORMC 4th floor nurses and her caregiver Bianca Gonzales.
