Janet Osborn

Jan Osborn, age 61, of Odessa, TX, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 after a long battle with a rare blood cancer.

Jan was born May 10, 1956 to Hubert Brock and Floy Heath in Odessa, TX. Jan is a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend. Jan's fondest memories were when she was a child visiting her grandparents farm in Robert Lee, TX. She truly loves the Lord, her family and all her puppies. Reading was one of her favorite things, arts and crafts, painting, gardening also. Jan really loved her flowers. In her younger years she was a CAN in the medial field. Six years ago, she suffered a stroke which took her ability to read and write because it took most of her sight. This is when she learned she had a rare blood cancer. She fought strong and never gave up, even at her weakest.

Jan is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Callie Rieves; sister, Anita Batson; aunt, Johnnie Caston; dads, John Retzloff, and Bobby Heath.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Osborn; daughters, Lisa Groening, Tammy Claston; sons, Johnny Pierce, Troy Pierce; grandchildren, Amy, Jessica, Sweetie, Eric, Callie, Michael, Jordan, Preston, Jesenyia, Brenden, Baby Troy, Princess and nine great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Matt Wilson officiating.
