Let us celebrate the life of Jacie "Jaycie" Danielle Villanueva, 23, of Odessa, TX who entered her eternal life on July 26, 2023.

Jaycie was born on October 19, 1999, to Tracie and James Villanueva.  She was on the swim team at Permian High School where she lettered as a sophomore.  She then went on to graduate from Richard Milburn Academy in 2018.  She had various jobs that let her do what she did best - interact with people to brighten their day.  She had the biggest and most beautiful smile that would light up any room.  She never met a stranger and left an impression on everyone she encountered.  Jaycie accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized at church camp on July 13, 2013, and then recommitted her life to Christ on July 10, 2022.

She is preceded in death by mother, Tracie Villanueva; paternal grandfather, Jimmy Villanueva; uncle, Chris Villanueva; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Debbie Wright; grandmother, Rose McCleery.

She is survived by father, James Villanueva; brothers, Bralynn Villanueva, Jayden Salcido, and Collin Mahoney; grandmother, Olivia Villanueva; aunt and uncle, Cindy and Gayland Burleson; cousins, Chris Burleson, Michael and Amy Burleson; stepmother, Stevie Villanueva; grandparents, Steve and Tina Nelms; numerous extended family who all loved and adored her.

Pallbearers will be Bralynn Villanueva, Jayden Salcido, Collin Mahoney, Chris Burleson, Michael Burleson, and Gayland Burleson.

A visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday, August 4, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 5, 2023, at New Life Church.
