Jaymi Montgomery

Surrounded by her loved ones, Jaymi Lynn Montgomery, age 29, passed away Monday, April 20, 2009 at Hospice House in Odessa, Texas. She entered this world and undoubtedly a place in the hearts of those around her on May 12, 1979.

From the moment she was born, Jaymi had a smile that could melt the heart of anyone around her. She was very strong willed, loved to travel, be around people, and never failed at giving a smile anytime it was needed. She loved art, music, writing poems, fashion, friends, family, and most of all her two sons Cameron and Caleb. She was loved by many, and that love will always glow in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Along with being a loving mother, Jaymi was a daughter, a sister, a cousin, and always a true friend. Even in such a short life, it can not be argued, that no matter where she ventured in life, Jaymi touched so many lives around her, she will be missed for a lifetime.

Jaymi is survived by two sons, Cameron and Caleb Montgomery; her mother and stepfather, Lynn and Glenn Brooker; father, Royce Holder; one sister, Emma Brooker; three brothers, Benjamin Holder, Justin and Nathan Brooker. She is also survived by grandfathers, Gene Miller and Sonny Holder; four nephews, Chase Holder, John, Jacob, and Jeremy Brooker and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jaymi was preceded in death by grandmothers, Theresa Miller and Juanell Holder.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, April 23, 2009 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to express their eternal gratitude to all of those at Hospice House who took such good care of, not just Jaymi, but all of us. They truly give heart and soul to help get you through unbearable loss.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice.
