Jean Barton

Jean Barton, 82, of Odessa, passed away on June 29, 2018 in Odessa.

Visitation will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm.

Jean Barton was born in Andrews, TX to Clarence and Berniece Ward on October 25, 1935. She worked as an Event Coordinator for Ector County at the Senior Center for many years.

Jean Barton is preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Barton, her mother, Berniece Ward and her father, Clarence Ward as well as a sister, Patricia Clay.

Jean Barton is survived by her children, Donna Lummus, Mickey and his wife Kimberly Pike and Rickey and his wife Patricia Pike; grandchildren, Amy Roden, Warren Pike, Tiffany DeSilva, Larry Bray and Tina Marie Pike; great grandchildren, Kirsten and Lacoda Nelson, Taylor Roberts, Andrew Bray, Emilee DeSilva, Damian and Naomi Bray and Anastasia Howeth; great-great grandson, Logan Nelson; sisters, Mary Taylor and Johnnie and her husband Dan Anderson; nephews Tommy and Hershal Clay; and nieces, Gina Pate and Carol and her husband Jr. Lopez and Cordella Jolly.
