Jenna Beggs

Jenna Lee Beggs, 87, of Kermit, TX passed away on November 2, 2018, in Odessa, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Jeremy Odom, her grandson officiating.

Jenna Lee was born in Electra, Tx to Carl and Judy Fletcher on Oct. 28, 1931. She went to school in Electra and Kermit. She entered through the nursing program and received her LVN license at Kermit Memorial Hospital. She married Leon Beggs Oct. 12, 1959 in Kermit. She worked as a LVN for many years. Through her career she was employed by Kermit Memorial Hospital, Dr. McClure, and Dr.'s Harper and Orene Pedicord. While residing in Phoenix, Arizona she went back to school, after her children were grown to get her RN license. In her golden years she worked for Nurses Unlimited in Odessa for the terminal ill until she retired. She loved nursing and taking care of people.

Jenna Lee is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Beggs, her brother, Jimmy Fletcher, her grandson David Lane, her mother and father, Carl and Judy Fletcher.
Jenna Lee is survived by her children, Janice and Mike Mann of Hutto, TX, Vickie and Arley Trull of Odessa, TX, Judy and Phil Hollar, of Palestine, TX, Donita Lane of Odessa, TX, Billy Beggs of Alpine, TX, John Beggs of Overgaard, Arizona. She has 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

The family of Jenna Lee Beggs wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Buena Vita Nursing Home, her Dr.'s and Hospice. You were her home and family for 2 years and she loved all of you very much. She felt very loved and cared for by each of you.
