He was born October 15, 1939 in Levelland, Texas and a new star was added in Heaven Monday, November 8, 2010 in Odessa.

Survivors are his wife, Colleen Taylor, son, Troy Nissen and wife Laurie of Cedar Park, Texas daughters, Shanah Coe of Strawn, Texas, Tonya Sullivan and husband Lynn of Kuwait City, Kuwait grandsons, Cody Coe of Pearland, Texas, Mark and Matthew Nissen of Cedar Park, Texas, Taylor Sullivan of Kuwait City, Kuwait and Jory Sullivan of Collinsville, Alabama brother, Roy Taylor and Mary of Colorado City, Texas sister, Lee Bower and husband Steve of Malta, New York and sisterinlaw, Gerdi Taylor of Orlando, Florida and many nephews, nieces, cherished cousins and extended family members and his ever faithful BO.

No services are scheduled at this time. A celebration of life may be held at a later date.
