Jerrod Cook

Jerrod Cook, 35, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Friday, April 15, 2023, in Fort Worth Texas. He was born in Odessa Texas on May 19,1987 to Terry and Queta Cook.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023, at First Assembly of God church in Odessa, Texas at 2:00 PM. Reverend Paul Thompson will be officiating.

Jerrod had the biggest heart and would give the shirt off his back to you if needed. He always had the biggest smile and infectious laugh that stayed with him throughout his life. Jerrod was so proud of getting his CDL and being able to travel all over. You could always find him sitting on the dock, watching the sunset, catching fish and yelling at the turtles to stay away from his bait.

Jerrod is preceded in death by his wife, Angela Cook.

Jerrod is survived by his daughter, Shelbie Cook; and son, Skyler Cook; his sister, Tenille Aranda, and her husband, Fabian of Odessa; his sister, Cari Hall, and her husband, Joe of Odessa; his parents, Terry and Queta Cook of Granbury, Texas, as well as his niece, Ashton Aranda; and nephews, Cason Aranda, Kaden, Barret, and Jhett Hall, all of Odessa.

Pallbearers will be Fabian Aranda, Joe Hall, Kaden Nall, Barret Hall, Cason Aranda, and Chase Mcclinton.
