Jerry Baker, Jr.

Jerry Odell Baker, Jr., age 50, of Odessa, passed away Monday November 14, 2011 in Odessa.

Jerry was born October 24, 1961 in Albany to Jerry Odell Baker, Sr. and Barbara Jane Macon. He married Rhonda New Baker on March 23, 1991 in Coahoma, Texas.

Jerry was raised in Odessa and graduated from Permian High School. He worked in oilfield sales since high school. He worked for Forum Energy and was an excellent salesman. He was a people person and enjoyed fishing and most of all loved his family. Jerry was a proud Papa to Nathan Lee and Jacob Wayne Baker. He was a Baptist. He was proud of his job and loved his fellow workers.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Baker son and daughterinlaw, Brian and Gina Baker parents, Jerry and Barbara Baker sister, Margie Baker grandsons, Nathan and Jacob Baker uncle Willie Macon and wife Kim and many nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for 68 PM Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Maass officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
